Jordyn Wieber, A Hero Among Us
Speaking out has not been easy, but it has empowered me to fight for change, so this never happens to another gymnast or child again.
Created to serve under-resourced middle school students in Central Florida. The mission of the camp is to “provide valuable life skills and career awareness.”
This three to five-day camp features workshops on important life skills, including conflict resolution, critical decision-making, and cyber-bullying. Local professionals with various careers and educational backgrounds provide Career Awareness discussions for campers, offering tips from their career paths.
Campers will receive sports instructions in various sports, including non-traditional sports.
