Huddle Up leverages the transcendent power of sport to end gender-based violence and address social justice issues. Partnering with professional and collegiate teams, we challenge learners to embrace leadership roles, advocating for those who are underrepresented and supporting everyone’s basic human rights.
Huddle Up presents individuals, teams, and athletic organizations with the opportunity to explore and train on a continuum of programs that spans:
- How to effectively eradicate gender violence
- All dimensions of diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging
- Understanding the power of transformational leadership compared to other leadership styles
- Critical decision-making skills specifically designed for athletic populations (student-athletes, coaches, staff, leadership)
- And a host of other programs

NCAA Student Athlete Leadership Forum
Since 2015, we have partnered with the NCAA on the Student Athlete Leadership Forum. In November 2024, nearly 400 student-athletes, coaches, and administrators convened in Charlotte, NC to learn how to incorporate, growth mindset, core values, emotional intelligence, and inclusivity into their leadership toolbox. 20 Years of Impact: Huddle Up at MLB Spring Training
For two decades, our Huddle Up team has led gender-based violence prevention training during Major League Baseball’s spring training, empowering nearly 1,000 athletes, coaches, and staff with the tools to lead with respect and accountability. This March, we partnered with the Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Los Angeles Dodgers to engage for the 2025 season.
Championing Local Student-Athletes at Super Bowl
Each year, we partner with Athlife and The Annual Player Networking Event at Super Bowl for a day of leadership development with local high school student-athletes. Last year, nearly 200 high school athletes joined us for a day of personal development, engaging with former NFL and collegiate players who are dedicated to helping them thrive as leaders beyond sport.
Leadership in Action at IMG Academy
In partnership with IMG Academy and the NCAA, we engaged over 300 senior student-athletes in immersive leadership and social impact training during their annual Intersession. Through hands-on experiences, 12th-grade athletes learns to build trust, find their voice, and lead with integrity—harnessing the power of sport to drive meaningful change.
